Linda McMahon

Linda McMahon for US Senate

Endorsed in 2010 by the Bethel Republican Town Committee to be one of Connecticut's Senators in the US Federal Senate.

Linda is concerned about the direction Washington is taking our country. Some of Ms. McMahon's concerns are government spending that has gone beyond excessive, bureaucrats that are enlarging their fiefdoms without regard to the people who pay for them, and the trillion dollar stimulus package that has failed to spur economic growth. She believes that what is being done in Washington today is creating long-term damage to the economy and needs to be corrected immediately.

Linda believes part of the problem in D.C. is the career politicians, and she believes Washington works best when it is infused with new ideas and fresh perspectives. She’s not going to Washington for the perks or the special interest favors. She's not going for the money. She has all the perks and money she needs. Linda is running to make our country better by making Washington work for us.

Linda is a businesswoman with 30 years of real life business experience who has successfully balanced a budget and has created jobs. She knows that companies can’t spend their way out of debt, and neither can countries. Linda believes good government demands fiscal responsibility. Fiscal responsibility begins with spending restraint and an end to deficit spending. And Linda knows that smaller government will help reduce the burdensome taxes and regulations that make it difficult for small businesses to succeed and create jobs.
